Garmin quatix™ Recall

Garmin has identified a potential safety issue involving the quatix watch and has decided to voluntarily recall all quatix watches. The issue involves the battery being too close to the watch housing in some watches which, when combined with salt water or heavy perspiration, can cause a small burn on the skin under the watch. Garmin has received one report from a quatix user of this occurring. Given Garmin’s longstanding commitment to safety and customer satisfaction, Garmin is voluntarily recalling all quatix watches.

Please check the serial number on the rear casing of the watch. Quatix watches within the following serial numbers ranges are subject to this recall and should be returned:

quatix North America: 337000001 - 337009999

quatix Europe/Australia/New Zealand: 37R000001 - 37R009999
